I am Indian passport holder, now I am in USA , I want to go back to India through Moscow by air, is there any transit visa required? Please confirm me. Thanks.

If you are going to stay in Moscow for 2-3 days, you should apply to Russian consulate in India in advance to obtain a tourist visa.

I would like to visit Moscow again, but whilst there fly to Kaliningrad to stop for 3-4 days. Then, fly back to Moscow. If so, are there any problems in a UK resident making a visit to Kaliningrad, and do I just need a single entry visa to enter Moscow?

Answer

On a single entry Russian visa you can travel from Moscow to Kaliningrad and back only by domestic flights. If your trip is within the visa validity period, you do not need to obtain another visa.

Question

To whom it may concern, In a couple of weeks I am travelling to Lithuania and was interested in getting the train to Kaliningrad. Can I get a visa at the border or through a hotel booking in Kaliningrad? Regards, Nicole

Answer

You cannot get Russian visa at the border between the Kaliningrad Region and Lithuania. In your case, it is necessary to obtain a tourist visa either at place of your residence in advance or at any Russian consulate in Lithuania.
